At the end of 2003 I registered the e-mail address
everyone@hotmail.com and immediately started receiving e-mail from individuals attempting to simultaneously contact everyone who has a hotmail account. Some of the messages are cries for help (legitimate or not) others include vulgar insults, random messages, and in-depth opinions. Some of the e-mails are semi-personal, meant only for everyone on the person’s address list. Still others are requests for information, bids for companionship, and declarations of love. This is one example of the hundreds of e-mails meant for everyone.
